I screamed into a pillow. Here’s what happened next.

I’ll be honest with you.

This week, I did my Emotional Release practice every single day.

Not because I had extra time, but because I didn’t.

I was running the business, finishing big projects, managing clients, networking, trying to keep all the plates spinning.

All while dealing with cramps and excessive bleeding and cycle-related exhaustion … (hello perimenopause!)

And I found myself getting triggered at little things, laying wide awake at 3am, then dragging myself into the morning like it was Groundhog Day.

Because I practice what I preach, this is NOT my norm.

But about once a month, the hormones and the accumulated stress *try* to get the best of me.

So instead of pretending I was “fine,” I laid down, closed my eyes, started exhaling harder and longer than my inhale, and let myself feel it.

I breathed.

I shook.

I cried.

I screamed into a pillow.

And then—something shifted.

By the end of each session, I wasn’t just calmer.

I was clearer. More decisive. More creative.

Instead of white-knuckling through the day, I actually had energy left to show up for my people—with presence.

By the end of the week, I felt like I could conquer the world!!

Here’s what I know:

Most of us were taught to power through, to out-work and out-think our stress.

But burnout lives in your nervous system.

And until you teach your body that it’s safe to slow down, and to actually FEEL what’s in there, no amount of planning, delegating, or “positive mindset” will overcome the stress.

That’s why I’m so excited about this upcoming LIVE Emotional Release session inside Fuck the Hustle.

What You'll Receive:

In just one hour, I’ll guide you through a trauma-aware practice using breath and gentle movement to:

  • Clear the emotional residue mindset work can’t touch

  • Release stress your body has been carrying for years

  • Tap back into your clarity, energy, and intuition

  • Build the capacity to respond instead of react (at work and at home)

This isn’t theory. It’s a tool and a practice that you can take with you for the rest of your life.

And it works.

Your Invitation:
Thursday, August 21st | 5pm PT / 8pm ET

You can join live as a charter member of the Fuck the Hustle private community, and also get:

The HUSTLE Trap (digital book) — uncover how hustle culture hijacked your nervous system so you can finally see the patterns keeping you stuck.

The Nervous System is Your Strategy workshop — a step-by-step framework to turn nervous system awareness into practical leadership and life shifts.

These two tools give you the context and framework to make the most of your Emotional Release practice—so you’re not just breathing differently after this hour, you’re rewiring how you move through the world.

And each month, we'll explore different LIVE practices to deepen that work, so you keep building capacity instead of sliding back into burnout.

This will NOT be recorded. If you miss it, you miss it (and next month, we'll be diving into something slightly different.)

So, if you’ve been feeling stuck, drained, or like no amount of “self-care” or talk therapy is cutting it—come join us.

P.S. I’ve done this SO much over the past 6 years, that I don’t always feel the need to do it every day. Instead I often just notice what’s coming up in my body and process it on the spot. (No big ritual needed.)

BUT many of my clients do this practice EVERY DAY, and they say it’s made an immense difference in their lives.

Here’s what Andy had to say about it:

"I feel much calmer doing this consistently. I've been doing it almost every day for 45 minutes or so. These blocks come up but then I'm just able to let them go. Finally getting rid of that stored physical energy has allowed me to really start creating. And now I'm creating SO MUCH!  I really, actually look forward to my time that I have during the day to do the practice, because I feel so much better after! And I don't feel like I need to understand the why anymore. I can just feel the physical sensation and let it go."
