2025 Year In Review
Future You is calling ...
Raise your hand if 2024 felt like a never-ending game of Whac-A-Mole.
Here’s the thing most people miss: they let the year happen to them.
News cycles, job stress, relationship drama—it’s a constant game of react, take frantic action, collapse from exhaustion, repeat.
But you? You’re here reading this, which means you’re not most people.
Let’s play a different game. Let’s pretend it’s this time next year. What kind of 2025 are you looking back on?
Not just what you accomplished—though, hey, gold stars for those—but who were you while you did it?
Were you calm under pressure? Creative? Fully aligned with your purpose?
Or were you spastically spinning your wheels, chasing external “wins” and losing your mind in the process?
Here’s the cheat code:
Decide in advance who you want to be in 2025.
Start being that person now.
Here’s how:
Step 1: Create Your Vision
Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Sink into your body. Release any tension that you find there. Picture yourself one year from now with your life EXACTLY the way you want it. How do you feel? What’s your vibe? How are you showing up? What do you see, smell, hear, taste, and touch?
Step 2: Reverse-Engineer It
What does Future You do differently? How do they start their mornings? How do they respond to setbacks? Write it down.
Step 3: Anchor It Daily
Play back the 5-senses reality of your vision every morning. Pick one word, emotion, or mantra that represents Future You—calm, fierce, joyful, Master-Of-My-Own-Universe, whatever feels right—and make every decision as if you’re already that person.
Why this works:
The world’s chaos is NOT going to stop. But when you ground yourself in who you’re becoming, you take back the driver’s seat in your life. This isn’t some woo-woo manifestation fluff; it’s about aligning your thoughts, feelings, actions and habits with what truly matters.
In 2024, I rode the 30 foot waves and got smashed hard more than once, but kept getting up with grace.
But I turned chaos into clarity, adversity into opportunity, alchemized extreme discomfort into downright pleasure, and created my own joy when it seemed impossibly elusive.
THIS is a HUGE part of my process and how I was able to maintain my center even when it felt like everything around me was crumbling.
I leveled up this year in part because I decided in advance WHO I was going to be.
So, tell me: WHO's FUTURE YOU?
